When we commit our lives to Christ in the baptismal ceremony, it’s like a wedding. And when we have a communion service, it’s like a re-commitment ceremony to our lives with Jesus. The first time Jesus washed his disciples feet, Peter was vehemently opposed to it… until he understood what it meant. Then he was all in.
